Calibration Process Data Science Intern (8 months)

About the role

As a Data Science Intern in the Calibration Engineering group at Bosch’s North American headquarters, you will work on an eight‑month project focused on automotive powertrain data. You will collaborate with experienced data scientists and engineers to apply advanced analytics and machine learning to real‑world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to uncover patterns and insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, and evaluation.
• Build predictive models for forecasting, demand planning, anomaly detection, and quality improvement.
• Apply data mining techniques such as association rules, clustering, and dimensionality reduction to generate actionable recommendations.
• Visualize results and communicate findings to cross‑functional teams.
