Business Intelligence Analyst I – New College Graduate

About the role

You will support the Applied Global Services (AGS) Sourcing organization, working closely with Supplier Account Managers to provide data‑driven insights for parts and material across multiple commodities. The role bridges supply‑chain needs with technical business intelligence solutions to drive cost, lead‑time, and quality improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to capture business data and reporting requirements.
• Translate those requirements to the Technical Business Intelligence team for automated reports and user interfaces.
• Perform financial analysis of spend and revenue data, including MCOS, PPV, gross margin, and P&L.
• Extract and consolidate data from internal databases such as SAP, MS Access, and Tableau.
• Analyze data from a financial perspective and summarize findings using Excel.
• Create tables, charts, and graphs in Excel to visualize supplier, commodity, and account manager metrics.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations that highlight key insights, visual graphs, and actionable takeaways.
• Engage with Account Managers to validate cost variances and spend trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain management concepts is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, automated functions, cost‑model development).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating visual slides.
• Experience with internal databases such as SAP, MS Access, and Tableau.
• Strong financial analysis skills covering MCOS, PPV, gross margin, and P&L statements.
