About the role

Ensemble Performing Arts is looking for an experienced, professional music instructor to teach brass, woodwinds, and piano on a part‑time basis at Flatts and Sharpe Music Company in Norwood Park. The role requires in‑person instruction and offers flexible scheduling within the store’s open hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide private lessons for brass, woodwind, and piano students.
• Set and maintain consistent availability while accommodating store hours.
• Ensure punctuality, reliable transportation, and a safe learning environment.
• Pass a routine background check.

Required profile

• Degree in piano, music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Strong appreciation for punctuality and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.
