Branch Manager – Pasadena, TX

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Branch Manager to lead its Pasadena, TX location. The role carries full profit & loss responsibility and oversees both field inspection and laboratory operations, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full P&L, budgeting, business development and cost control for the branch.
• Lead and develop field inspection and laboratory staff, handling recruitment, retention and performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and drive continuous improvement of QHSE standards.
• Oversee client relationships, marketing activities and new project acquisition.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation, CAPEX, and ensure proper use of Order Management and LIMS systems.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of petroleum and chemical inspection procedures and related standards.
• Proven leadership and communication skills with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in a cross‑matrix environment, preferably in O&P/Energy industry.
• Ability to plan, multitask and make data‑driven decisions in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 knowledge.
• Oil & Petrochemical inspection, loss control, marine measurement, tank gauging, temperature determination, metering, API standards.
• Proficiency with Order Management System and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Lean or Six Sigma methodology.
• IFIA Petroleum Inspector certification (or equivalent).
