Box Room Associate – 1st Shift

About the role

The Box Room Associate works the first shift (Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm) assembling and handling boxes in a fast‑paced production environment. The role includes operating a box‑making machine, moving raw box material, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble boxes manually or using the box machine.
• Unload unmade boxes from trucks with a forklift and hydraulic hand trucks.
• Transport box material to the machine, load brackets, and retrieve glue supplies.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures for light maintenance and cleanup.
• Dispose of trash and crushed boxes, place lids on the lid track, and cover boxes at shift end.
• Follow break schedules and perform condensation wiping on the line.
• Adhere to all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable laws.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self‑motivated, and follow directions.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.
• Strong work ethic, honesty, and cooperative attitude.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.

• Basic math for measurements and counts.
