Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist – Meridian, MS

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join its Eastern Mississippi program in Meridian. The physician will work in a team model alongside Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) across two facilities – Ochsner Rush Medical Center and Meridian Surgery Center.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a collaborative team model with CRNAs at both Ochsner Rush Medical Center and Meridian Surgery Center.
• Supervise CRNAs and maintain 24‑hour call coverage at the acute‑care hospital while managing scheduled cases at the surgery center.
• Follow a rotating schedule of two weeks on, one week off, covering both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Ability to work effectively with community surgeons, Ochsner physicians, and proceduralists.
• Strong collaborative skills to develop relationships with medical staff and leadership.
