Board Certified Urologist – Meridian, MS

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join its established urology practice in Meridian, Mississippi. The physician will provide comprehensive urologic care in both clinic and operating rooms, working with a team that includes a robotic‑trained urologist and two Urology APPs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform urologic surgeries, including robotic procedures using da Vinci XI and SI systems.
• Conduct new techniques such as Navigated Prostate Biopsy (Invivo), Blue Light bladder cancer treatment, and Urolift for BPH.
• Provide outpatient clinic services and manage urodynamics studies.
• Participate in on‑call coverage approximately 10 days per month.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Experience with robotic surgery and advanced urologic procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible M‑F schedule that includes clinic and OR time.

Required skills

• Robotic surgery (da Vinci XI, da Vinci SI).
• Navigated Prostate Biopsy (Invivo).
• Blue Light cystoscopy.
• Urolift procedure for BPH.
• Urodynamics testing.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record.
