About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join its growing Rheumatology department in Covington, Louisiana. The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care for a diverse panel of patients with complex rheumatic diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, spondyloarthropathies, and gout.
• Staff outpatient clinics and infusion suites in Covington and Slidell, with no hospital call required.
• Collaborate with specialists across the Ochsner Health system to coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Willingness to work onsite in Covington, LA, within the integrated practice model.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record platform.
• General electronic health record (EHR) competency.
