Bilingual Bankruptcy Case Manager / Document Collector

About the role

A U.S.-based law firm is looking for a bilingual professional to manage bankruptcy cases and collect required documentation remotely. The role is ideal for an organized, proactive individual who can communicate directly with clients in English and Spanish while supporting attorneys and paralegals throughout the bankruptcy process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned bankruptcy cases and maintain consistent client follow‑up.
• Request, collect, and organize financial documents such as bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, IDs, and creditor information.
• Review documentation for completeness and follow up on missing items.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files and update case management systems.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish about documentation, deadlines, and case requirements.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals with case preparation and filing.
• Track deadlines, outstanding documentation, and pending client requirements.
• Provide general administrative support related to bankruptcy matters.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with a U.S. bankruptcy law firm.
• Experience as a Bankruptcy Case Manager, Legal Assistant, Document Collector, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with Chapter 7 and/or Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, detail‑oriented, and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
