Bagger Operator – Production Machine

About the role

We are looking for a Bagger Operator to run and maintain our bag‑filling production line. The role involves setting up the machine, entering product codes manually, and ensuring that each bag meets quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily set‑up and operation of the bagging machine.
• Enter product codes by hand and operate the machine to production standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, regular equipment inspections and basic light repairs.
• Assist maintenance mechanics with troubleshooting as needed.
• Adjust machine settings to maximise efficiency, quality and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and document product specifications and bag usage.
• Participate in team meetings, follow company operating‑system procedures and promote cohesive teamwork.

Required profile

• Ability to stand for an entire shift and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, lifting 3‑20 lb bags and assisting with 30‑150 lb rolls.
• Comfort working in a cool, wet and noisy environment while wearing required PPE.
• Basic literacy – read, write and communicate product specifications.
• Preference for experience in poultry or food‑processing environments.
