Associate/VP Securitized Products Trader (CIB)

About the role

Santander is seeking an Associate or Vice‑President level Securitized Products Trader to join its Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) team. The trader will support market‑making, risk management and client engagement across a range of securitized products.

Key responsibilities

• Support trading and market‑making across securitized products.
• Monitor market developments, relative‑value opportunities and sector trends to inform trading decisions.
• Manage risk, contribute to positioning, portfolio analysis and inventory management.
• Partner with sales to identify client demand, communicate market color and execute trading ideas.
• Collaborate with research, structuring and other trading desks to evaluate platform‑wide opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external market participants.
• Contribute to the development of trading strategy and franchise growth.

Required profile

• Experience in fixed income, structured products or securitized markets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑team collaboration and client interaction.
• Demonstrated interest in markets, trading and risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
