About the role
SoundCloud is seeking an Associate Sales Strategist to join its Revenue Operations team. In this entry‑level position you will learn the fundamentals of media strategy while supporting high‑volume RFP responses and maintaining the team’s operational tools.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and deliver Level 1 RFP responses using standardized templates and strategic modules.
- Collaborate with the Audience Insights team to obtain first‑ and third‑party audience data (Luminate, Midia) for pitch narratives.
- Maintain and update the library of sales materials, artist case studies, and audience insights.
- Own the pod’s project tracker in Asana, keeping status updates and deadlines visible.
- Leverage AI tools to draft initial proposal copy and organize research notes under guidance.
- Assist in creating pitch decks by building audience‑insight slides, simple mock‑ups, and sourcing imagery.
- Facilitate information flow between Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams.
Required profile
- 0–2 years of experience in media, marketing, or a related field (including internships).
- Genuine passion for music and the SoundCloud community.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude in a fast‑moving, changing environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Asana project management.
- Experience using AI‑assisted writing or research tools.
- Familiarity with audience data platforms such as Luminate and Midia.
