About the role

Ingram Micro is hiring an Associate, Logistics in Santa Ana. This is an entry-level position with routine work that follows standard procedures and is closely supervised, with problems that have clearly defined solutions.

Key responsibilities

Handle, move, load and unload materials by hand or with material handling equipment, and open and seal crates, boxes and cartons
Collect, sort, store and distribute materials, and process orders from requisitions to dispense stock items
Assist with inventory, including stock rotation, and process inventory paperwork
Ship, receive and process freight according to company policy, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise
Maintain and update the purchase order system as shipments arrive, are cancelled or back-ordered, and report inventory issues to management regularly
May help with kit and bundle breakdown and component sorting

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent
0-1 year of general experience; 1 year of functional experience strongly desired
Ability to learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks
