About the role
F.H. Paschen, a construction company with over 115 years of experience, is hiring an Assistant Superintendent in Houston. This is an assistant managerial position reporting to the project Superintendent and the General Superintendent.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day supervision of the project
- Assist with supervision of company field labor and subcontractor activities
- Help maintain project safety and housekeeping, including cleaning up the job site
- Maintain appropriate project documentation
- Help resolve field conflicts and ensure proper job sequencing
- Assist with owner-occupant relations and coordinate and receive deliveries
- Make regular project visits and oversee your own projects when required
- Other duties as assigned
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general construction
- Some working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations is beneficial
