Assistant Construction Project Manager - Travel Required

About the role
Creature is looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support and lead construction projects across the country. The role requires strong ownership, communication, and problem‑solving skills to deliver quality projects on schedule and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Daily communication with architects, superintendents, and key stakeholders on each Birmingham‑based project.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating work through regular meetings and team huddles.
- Plan project schedules alongside superintendents from start to completion.
- Lead relationships with project owners, Creature superintendents, skilled labor, and subcontractors.
- Lead estimating efforts and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage client expectations to ensure timeliness and accuracy throughout projects.
Required profile
- Background in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is highly preferred.
- 2+ years of proven and relevant experience in construction project management.
