Armed/Commissioned Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Commissioned Security Officer to join our team in San Antonio. In this role you will provide physical security, conduct inspections, and manage entry access control at designated locations for government and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services, including vehicle and personnel entry control points, roving patrols, and armed escort duties.
• Protect equipment and personnel in various environments.
• Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems and proficiency with non‑lethal weapons.
• Work up to 12‑hour shifts in austere conditions such as extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass a pre‑employment background investigation.
• Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable).
• Completion of Texas Private Security Level III training within 30 days or possession of a valid Texas PSB Level III license (full‑time law‑enforcement applicants are exempt).

Required skills

• Maintain qualification and proficiency with assigned weapons and non‑lethal weapons.
• Ability to don required personal protective gear.
