Applied AI Research Engineer

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an Applied AI Research Engineer to bridge the gap between cutting‑edge model development and real‑world customer adoption. You will work closely with product, sales, and research teams to test new capabilities, build demos, and turn field insights into product improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with product teams to become the go‑to technical expert on emerging AI capabilities.
• Own the technical‑to‑market hand‑off for model and product launches, including early testing and field readiness assessments.
• Design and deliver demos, evaluations, and prototypes that showcase customer‑relevant performance.
• Create enablement materials such as playbooks, training sessions, and reference architectures.
• Work hands‑on with strategic customers to solve novel technical challenges and package solutions for broader use.
• Synthesize insights from customer engagements and collaborate with product and research to influence the roadmap.
