About the role
We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join Clera’s founding team in San Francisco. You will work directly with the CTO & Co‑Founder to build a fully agentic system that automates headhunting end‑to‑end.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship AI‑driven matching and search features to production daily.
- Collaborate with the CTO to build a fully agentic system that automates the headhunting process end‑to‑end.
- Participate in the on‑site hacker‑house, working closely with a small founding team.
Required profile
- Strong software engineering background with experience in TypeScript and React.
- Hands‑on experience building with LLM APIs and AI‑assisted coding tools such as Cursor.
- Startup mindset: high agency, resourceful, and focused on creating value.
