Applied AI Architect, Strategic Enterprise Tech

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an Applied AI Architect to join its Strategic Enterprise Tech team in San Francisco. In this pre‑sales position you will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping large enterprises understand the value of Claude and guiding them through integration and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey, from discovery and evaluation to deployment.
• Work with customers on AI adoption strategies, including use‑case scoping, architecture reviews, technical champion building, adoption workshops, and execution.
• Support customers building with both the Claude API and Claude for Enterprise.
• Create and deliver technical content for engineering teams as well as business‑focused presentations for executives.
• Reproduce customer environments and problems to demonstrate production‑ready paths.
• Build deep relationships with Anthropic engineering and product teams, feeding customer needs into the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in large language models and AI solution architecture.
• Experience acting as a technical advisor or solutions architect for enterprise customers.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, product, and engineering teams.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable AI integrations.
