Applied AI Architect, Enterprise Tech

About the role

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Architect to join its Enterprise Tech team in San Francisco. In this pre‑sales position you will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping large enterprises understand the value of Claude and design safe, reliable deployments of large language model solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey, from discovery and evaluation to deployment.
• Support customers building with the Claude API and Claude for Work, creating evaluation frameworks and scalable architectures.
• Produce technical content ranging from deep‑dive engineering sessions to executive‑level business value presentations.
• Guide architecture decisions, integrate Claude into existing technology stacks, and identify common integration patterns.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to feed back insights and stay current on LLM capabilities.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for workshops and technical deep dives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical customer‑facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Proven track record working with enterprise customers and navigating complex buying cycles.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including C‑suite executives and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Claude API or similar large language model platforms.
• Strong understanding of LLM architecture, evaluation, and integration patterns.
