Applied AI Architect, Commercial

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Commercial Applied AI Architect to act as a trusted technical advisor for priority accounts. You will help customers understand the value of Claude, design integration strategies, and guide them from discovery through deployment while upholding the company’s safety and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey, coordinating across internal teams.
• Support customers building with the Claude API, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Develop prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts, and near‑production examples that customers can extend.
• Create reusable blueprints, demos, and enablement assets for broader use.
• Guide architecture decisions and integration of Claude into existing technology stacks.
• Help customers design evaluation frameworks to measure Claude’s performance for their use cases.
• Identify common integration patterns and feed insights back to Product and Engineering.
• Travel occasionally for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.

Required profile

• 3+ years of highly technical experience as a software engineer (or equivalent) with some customer‑facing exposure, OR 3+ years as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar role.
