Application Developer

About the role

Spaghetti Bridge is seeking an experienced Application Developer to design, build, and maintain critical internal systems that support its network of specialist schools across the UK. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and drive long‑term digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal software applications.
• Analyse business requirements and produce clear technical specifications.
• Write clean, scalable code and manage the full software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Support database development, reporting, and data analysis.
• Participate in regular agile releases and provide technical mentorship.

Required profile

• Strong experience in JavaScript and modern development practices.
• Proficiency with SQL/PSQL, database design and data modelling.
• Hands‑on experience with C#.NET, Delphi, Visual Basic or low‑code platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to develop commercial or enterprise applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
