About the role
Thesis is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own and evolve its data infrastructure while embedding AI-driven automation across the business. Based in New York with a hybrid schedule, you will partner directly with the Director of Data Analytics to ensure reliable, fast data pipelines and to create intelligent agents that amplify operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines feeding Snowflake and Metabase reporting.
- Monitor data quality, diagnose anomalies, and resolve breakages.
- Develop and extend models, views, and self‑service dashboards for cross‑functional teams.
- Translate ad‑hoc business questions from Ops, Marketing, and Growth into SQL queries and analytical solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents and multi‑step workflows that integrate tools and human oversight.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and promote a self‑service data culture.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills for translating business needs into technical solutions.

- Base salary $120,000‑$150,000 per year plus equity.
