Analyst, Global Investment Banking – Equity Capital Markets

About the role

As an Analyst on the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) desk, you will work at the intersection of Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and the equity markets, helping corporate clients raise equity capital through IPOs, follow‑on offerings, convertible bonds and other transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the origination and execution of equity transactions, including IPOs, follow‑ons, block trades and convertible bonds.
• Build and maintain market intelligence tools such as ECM transaction databases, comparable offering analyses, valuation benchmarks and investor demand trackers.
• Draft pitchbooks, market update presentations and deal roadshow materials.
• Monitor daily equity market conditions and translate trading dynamics, sector flows and investor sentiment into actionable client advice.
• Coordinate with Origination, Syndicate, Sales and Trading teams to market, price and allocate transactions.
• Interface with legal, compliance and external counsel during transaction execution.
• Prepare thought pieces on ECM market trends for internal and client‑facing use.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree.
• Sharp quantitative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex market dynamics into clear narratives.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Team‑first mentality.
