About the role
Airbus Americas is seeking an Aircraft Manager Completions to oversee folio management of assigned aircraft during the production and ground‑test phases, ensuring a smooth hand‑over to the completions centre (Flight Line).
Key responsibilities
- Document, organise and manage all non‑conformities throughout the flow‑line process and drive their closure in collaboration with relevant parties.
- Prepare and conduct First‑Of‑Test (FOT) meetings, ensuring on‑time closure of folio points and non‑conformities.
- Prepare aircraft documentation for internal quality gates and lead status meetings with the receiving station.
- Act as the L1 link for escalations, attend L SQCDPs and ensure proper documentation in Tandem.
- Create and distribute MSN status reports, perform inflow analysis and guarantee that “Aircraft Progress” reflects the true physical state of the aircraft.
- Proactively follow up aircraft issues, anticipate risks and generate daily MSN reports highlighting priority topics.
- Plan and lead working parties to resolve major aircraft issues and cooperate in national/international projects.
- Record information in “Aircraft Progress”, define daily priorities with station managers and perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or technical training in aviation manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation‑related fields, manufacturing planning or project management.
- Preferred: at least 1 year in a leading role.
- Eligibility for employment in the United States without sponsorship.
