Advanced Practice RN/PA – Neuro Critical Care (Night Shift)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Neuro Critical Care team on the night shift. This full‑time position provides direct patient care in a high‑acuity neuro‑intensive setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing/physician assistant care to neuro‑critical patients during night hours.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient status, interpret diagnostic data, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in handoffs and communicate effectively with day‑shift staff.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN or PA in the United States.
• Experience in neuro‑critical or intensive care settings preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Commitment to night‑shift work schedule.
