Advanced Practice RN/PA – Infusion B – Cancer Institute

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Infusion B team within the Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The role involves delivering high‑quality infusion therapy to oncology patients, supporting multidisciplinary care, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor infusion treatments for cancer patients, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and nursing staff to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatment responses, and any adverse events in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families about infusion procedures, side effects, and self‑care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN or PA in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in oncology infusion services preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency in infusion therapy techniques.
• Knowledge of oncology pharmacology.
