Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join its Medical Oncology Clinic. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the delivery of high‑quality cancer care within a collaborative, academic health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of oncology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in patient education, symptom management, and survivorship counseling.
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN (NP or CNS) in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in medical oncology or related oncology nursing preferred.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Required skills
