About the role
The Administrative Assistant provides essential office support for CAMBA Gardens II, a supportive/affordable housing development in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The role ensures smooth daily operations while maintaining client confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and safeguard confidential information.
- Greet visitors, determine their needs, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide general information about the organization.
- Compose, type, and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and prepare agendas and meeting rooms.
- Record, type, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Enter data into the automated management information system.
- Register department staff for training and arrange travel logistics.
- Ensure fax and copy machines are operational; monitor and schedule maintenance for all office equipment.
- Prepare and submit routine administrative reports.

- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with a diverse client base.
