Adjunct Grader for APRN Advanced Assessment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Adjunct Grader to join our team at The University of Tulsa. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student learning and assessment in the APRN Advanced Assessment course.

Key responsibilities

• Grade recorded physical assessments and SOAP notes for the APRN Advanced Assessment course.
• Provide constructive feedback and comments to students on their assessments.
• Ensure timely grading and return of assessments to students.
• Maintain accurate records of grades and provide regular updates to the course instructor.
• Collaborate with the course instructor to align grading criteria and maintain consistency.
• Participate in regular meetings with the course instructor to discuss grading practices and student performance.
• Provide additional support and guidance to students as needed, offering clarification on assessment requirements.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance student learning and assessment outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest assessment methods and best practices in the field.
• Uphold the academic integrity and standards of The University of Tulsa.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Current RN license and APRN certification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical practice.
• Excellent knowledge of assessment methods and grading practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining academic integrity and confidentiality.
• Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.

Required skills
