Adjunct Faculty – Bilingual Education (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Educator and Leadership Preparation seeks a non‑tenure‑track Adjunct Faculty member to teach Bilingual Education courses for the Fall 2026 term. Candidates will join a dynamic team delivering undergraduate and graduate instruction in bilingual and ESL education.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in bilingual education and ESL, including online and hybrid formats.
• Prepare and follow syllabus guidelines, maintain accurate records, assign grades, and report required data to the department.
• Collaborate with lead faculty, advise students, and contribute to curriculum development and assessment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in education or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in bilingual education (Spanish) or TESL.
• Strong background in bilingual and ESL education, with teaching experience in U.S. elementary or secondary schools.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Availability to teach during the day (evening considered).

Required skills

• Knowledge of theoretical and pedagogical approaches to bilingual and ESL instruction.
• Ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations.
