Adjunct Chemistry Faculty (Part-time)

About the role

The Department of Natural Sciences seeks a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate chemistry courses on a part‑time, non‑tenure‑track basis. You will deliver face‑to‑face lectures and laboratory sessions in organic and general chemistry, primarily during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 3‑hour lecture courses and 3‑hour laboratory courses.
• Maintain a safe and effective laboratory learning environment.
• Prepare course materials, labs, and assessments.
• Potentially teach additional semesters (fall, summer) as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in a related area.
• Experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and collaborate with colleagues.

What we offer
