ACM Consultant – Accommodation Services

About the role

The ACM Consultant provides end‑to‑end case management for accommodation requests related to life events. You will serve as the single point of contact for employees throughout leave, disability, or accommodation events, ensuring a trusted and connected experience.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and respond to employee inquiries about accommodation events, benefits, and options.
• Review medical documentation in compliance with federal, state, and Amazon policies.
• Leverage Amazon guidelines and best‑practice tools to oversee each accommodation case.
• Adjust case management plans as employee needs evolve.
• Address sensitive situations, troubleshoot issues, and remove barriers before, during, and after leave events.
• Communicate regular updates to employees and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Educate managers and business partners on employee concerns prior to leave and upon return.
• Maintain accurate system records and ensure compliance with regulations and company policy.
• Collaborate with third‑party administrators, HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and other teams as needed.

Required profile

• Individual contributor role with no direct reports.
• Strong ability to assess and adjust case plans based on changing employee needs.
• Excellent communication skills for sensitive situations and stakeholder updates.
• Knowledge of federal and state leave, disability, and accommodation regulations.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate documentation and compliance.
