About the role
Alcon is seeking an Account Manager to grow revenue for its vision care portfolio in the Gaithersburg, MD territory. The role focuses on partnering with eye care practitioners, promoting Alcon’s innovative products, and delivering solutions that meet both doctor and patient needs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and expand relationships with eye care professionals while executing strategic account plans.
- Identify customer needs and set clear objectives for each sales interaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create executional plans that align with customer and organizational goals.
- Implement marketing initiatives for specific products to drive adoption and change customer behavior.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas and meet call metrics such as reach and frequency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 10 years, Associate + 6 years, M.S.).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience in vision care or related medical field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
