Account Executive - SMB

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive high‑volume, transactional sales of Alma’s immigration platform to founders, early‑stage startups and small companies (1‑100 employees). The role is full‑cycle, from discovery to close, and focuses on helping customers navigate visa options and position Alma as a tech‑forward alternative to traditional law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full sales process for SMB customers: discovery, demo/assessment, proposal and close.
• Manage a high‑volume pipeline of founders and small businesses, qualifying inbound leads and prospecting new accounts.
• Educate prospects on visa categories (H‑1B, O‑1, TN, E‑3, L‑1, PERM, etc.) and align Alma’s solution with their hiring plans, budget and risk tolerance.
• Accurately forecast revenue, maintain clean CRM data and collaborate with the Legal team for smooth hand‑offs.
• Achieve net‑new customer acquisition targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of sales experience in high‑volume, transactional or SMB environments, or a recent graduate with strong motivation.
• Proven ability to run multiple deals in parallel and strong discovery skills.
• Clear, concise communication style comfortable speaking with founders and operators.
• Organized, disciplined, pipeline‑driven and coachable.

Required skills

• Experience with sales qualification frameworks such as BANT or MEDDICC (nice to have).
• Familiarity with SaaS, HR‑tech, legal‑tech or compliance products (nice to have).
