Vice President, Product Management – Open Finance Strategy

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to lead its Open Finance Strategy. The role will shape the vision, drive revenue growth, and position Mastercard’s Open Finance ecosystem at the forefront of innovation, including emerging areas such as Generative AI and Agentic Commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute Mastercard’s end‑to‑end Open Finance strategy, scaling revenue and deepening ecosystem partnerships.
• Drive high‑impact strategic initiatives from concept through actionable recommendations based on rigorous analysis.
• Develop compelling strategic narratives and presentations for senior executives.
• Identify and analyze industry shifts, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics in A2A payments, data‑sharing, and embedded finance.
• Partner with product owners across the business to translate strategic insights into product road‑maps and go‑to‑market plans.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading strategic product initiatives at a senior level.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and deliver results in a fast‑moving environment.
