Vice President, Loan Operations

About the role

This senior position leads loan operations within a dynamic lending environment, overseeing the full lifecycle of principal finance transactions from acquisition to divestment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with the principal investing deal team and external service providers across private credit, private equity and real estate.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately three professionals.
• Drive end‑to‑end transaction management for a diversified portfolio covering real estate, infrastructure, telecom, media, technology, leisure and healthcare.
• Hold approval authority for loan administration activities in LoanIQ and related systems.
• Oversee transaction closing, ongoing administration and stakeholder coordination.
• Advise and coordinate approvals with internal and external parties.
• Implement and refine procedures for day‑to‑day portfolio management.
• Maintain data integrity across loan management and peripheral systems.
• Foster staff engagement, development and daily management.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in loan middle office or loan operations, delivering bilateral and syndicated deals.
• Expertise reviewing and interpreting credit agreements and legal documentation.
• Strong grasp of financial, accounting and valuation principles.
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing large, complex data sets.
• Bachelor’s degree minimum.

• Base salary $160,000‑$200,000 per year, dependent on experience.
