Travel Radiology Technician – $2,887/week

About the role

Medasource is looking for a qualified Travel Radiology Technician to join a hospital in Palestine, Texas for a 14‑week assignment. You will support diagnostic imaging procedures by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring high‑quality image acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and record radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per physician orders.
• Perform daily/weekly quality‑control dose testing.
• Process and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation.
• Evaluate technical quality of images and calibrate instrumentation.
• Post‑process imaging within Xeleris, record information in Nemis, and utilize the Electronic Health Record.
• Conduct nuclear medicine and treadmill stress tests under cardiologist supervision.
• Maintain a clean work environment after each patient.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT registration (must be attached).
• BLS certification (must be attached).
• Ability to start within two weeks of offer acceptance.
