Tool Install Construction Coordinator (Superintendent)

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Coordinator (Superintendent) to lead tool installation projects within operating wafer manufacturing facilities. The role blends construction management with semiconductor‑specific requirements, ensuring safe, on‑schedule delivery while minimizing impact to live production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate tool install project deployment, aligning construction trades with project schedules, site readiness, and safety standards.
• Lead status meetings and stakeholder discussions to review Plan of Record dates, track deliverables, and communicate schedule updates.
• Analyze timelines, installation sequences, and resource availability to support effective planning for trade partners.
• Review design packages, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation, demolition, and construction planning.
• Track project progress, maintain status reporting tools, and provide leadership with updates on milestones, risks, and schedule changes.
• Coordinate daily field execution with construction trades, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve constraints and maintain safe, efficient progress.
• Identify schedule conflicts, constructability challenges, and installation risks, developing mitigation plans with stakeholders.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture, ensuring work follows site standards and best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of construction experience, preferably in semiconductor or high‑tech environments.
• Hands‑on experience coordinating trades and meeting client milestone dates.
• Client‑facing experience managing expectations and delivering results.
• Familiarity with A&E firms and ability to read and interpret design packages for semiconductor tooling.
• Comfort working in cross‑matrix organizations that include client management, factory management, trade contractors, vendors, and third‑party representatives.
