About the role
The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at Fresno State seeks qualified temporary lecturers to teach undergraduate courses. Appointments are made from a continuously open pool and may be assigned on short notice to meet enrollment needs.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver, and grade lectures, assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams.
- Maintain office hours and provide student support.
- Adhere to university and system‑wide policies as outlined in the Academic Policy Manual.
- Teach courses in the mode assigned (in‑person, hybrid, synchronous or asynchronous).
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
- Ability to begin teaching on short notice.
