Team Lead – Gym Operations

About the role

The Team Lead supports the Club Manager in overseeing daily gym operations and ensuring a positive experience for members. This full‑time, non‑exempt position combines front‑desk duties with staff development and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training, coaching, and developing front‑line staff.
• Provide excellent member service by handling check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, account updates, and gym tours.
• Answer phone calls courteously, take information calls, and resolve member inquiries.
• Support the Club Manager with scheduling, policy compliance, and backup leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Coordinate marketing promotions, ensure staff are informed, and manage inventory and supply orders.

Required profile

• Honesty, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Organizational and leadership abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lb as needed.
