About the role
The Strategy & Operations Manager will drive merchant growth and long‑term success on TikTok Shop, shaping the e‑commerce ecosystem for a global audience. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate strategic insights into scalable programs that enhance merchant enablement and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to support merchant onboarding, growth, and retention on TikTok Shop.
- Analyze product assortment, consumer demand trends, and platform supply to uncover growth opportunities.
- Partner with operations, product, and industry teams to turn strategies into actionable, scalable initiatives.
- Leverage platform tools and product capabilities to improve merchant enablement and operational efficiency.
- Lead cross‑functional projects, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and successful execution.
- Monitor merchant performance, assortment effectiveness, and ecosystem trends to continuously refine strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e‑commerce strategy, marketplace operations, merchant operations, or category/assortment strategy.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as operations, product, and merchant success.
- Strong analytical ability to use data for strategic decision‑making.
- Self‑driven, ownership‑focused, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
