Specialized Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Specialized Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at our Bosch Charleston plant. The technician will ensure continuous operation of manufacturing equipment by troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities between operations and engineering.
• Set up spare parts, optimize preventive maintenance, and keep process parameters current.
• Analyze equipment trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas following plant safety and environmental policies.
• Utilize plant systems such as SAP, MES, OPCON, Promaster, and Tableau for documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience working with manufacturing equipment on a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to collaborate with operators, technicians, engineers, and leadership.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Robotics, presses, cameras, and scanners.
• Mechanical and electrical linear systems.
• Software tools for measurement, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Enterprise systems: SAP, MES, OPCON, Promaster, Tableau.
