Site Supervisor – Construction Field Leader

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead daily field operations on federally‑funded construction projects. This hands‑on position requires coordinating crews, subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily on‑site construction activities, providing direction to subcontractors and field personnel.
• Serve as the primary on‑site liaison between the project team, subcontractors, and the government client.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and project‑specific protocols, conducting briefings and monitoring PPE use.
• Monitor workmanship, conduct site inspections, and oversee testing or commissioning as required.
• Track schedule progress, prepare daily/weekly updates, and help achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, review work, and confirm completion before advancing phases.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and overall site organization.
• Identify and resolve field issues promptly to avoid delays or safety risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction sites.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Background working on government or federally regulated projects.
• Strong safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
