About the role
Lubrizol is seeking a Shift Operator to join its Deer Park, TX plant. You will operate equipment and monitor processes to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible production. The role involves hands‑on work, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multiple departments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform rounds and field quality testing to verify equipment performance and product quality.
- Execute assigned operational tasks and follow standard work procedures.
- Use basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve process deviations and upset conditions.
- Participate in root‑cause investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train new operating personnel and share operational knowledge.
- Monitor key unit metrics and ensure alignment with plant and business goals.
- Carry out autonomous maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
- Accurately record asset utilization losses and follow safety policies.
Required profile
- High School Diploma.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, math, reading, and computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration abilities.
Required skills
- SAP process knowledge.
- Delta‑V process control knowledge.
