About the role
Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support the Kalaco property in Denver. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring a high standard of resident satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
- Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
- Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
- Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
Required profile
- Commitment to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
- Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently on a variety of mechanical and maintenance tasks.
