Senior Software Engineer – Power Apps & Automation

About the role

Mastercard’s Internal Systems & Automation Technology team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the employee experience strategy by designing, building, and maintaining low‑code applications and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive library of documentation for tools, integrations, design decisions, and support processes.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional application designs.
• Design, develop, and support Power Apps (canvas or model‑driven) solutions.
• Integrate applications with data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, Excel, SQL and external APIs, and implement workflows using Power Automate.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing solutions to ensure reliability.
• Ensure applications comply with security, governance, and performance standards.
• Participate in code and solution reviews with platform and architecture teams.

Required skills

• Frontend development with JavaScript and HTML.
• Experience with Azure services.
• API integration experience (REST, SOAP, Python).
• Working knowledge of SQL databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps and understanding of Power Platform components.
