About the role
The Senior Sales Director for Higher Education will lead the acquisition of new, high‑value university accounts across the United States. Working virtually, the role partners with the Sales VP, senior consultants and cross‑functional teams to position Kelly as the trusted staffing and managed service provider for complex higher‑education projects.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute growth strategy and priority‑account targeting for the higher‑education market.
- Identify, pursue and close the most complex, high‑value opportunities, often involving multiple business units or global programs.
- Build and maintain C‑suite relationships with HR, Procurement, Operations and Business Unit leaders, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Develop territory and account plans that highlight growth opportunities, competitive risks and cross‑business synergies.
- Create and deliver executive‑level presentations and proposals that articulate Kelly’s value proposition and business impact.
- Lead negotiation of strategic partnerships, long‑term agreements and complex commercial contracts.
- Design value‑based business cases tied to financial, operational and talent outcomes.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in consultative, enterprise‑level sales to higher‑education institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives and influence decision‑making processes.
- Strong business acumen with disciplined territory planning and account management skills.
- Proven track record of winning large, multi‑unit deals and managing complex sales cycles.
