Senior Project Manager – Remote Software Development

About the role

Tech9 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex software development programs for a key client. The role is fully remote and focuses on end‑to‑end delivery of technical solutions, from design through deployment, while acting as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams across multiple workstreams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality software.
• Capture requirements, refine project scope, and maintain alignment with product owners and business leaders.
• Oversee design, development, QA, and deployment activities, integrating Tech9’s embedded teams with the client’s resources.
• Implement AI‑enabled tools, automation, and repeatable workflows to improve reporting and reduce manual coordination.
• Monitor project health, manage risks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale software development projects in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with both client and delivery teams.
• Technical background, preferably as a former software engineer or in a deeply technical role.
• Self‑driven, mature, and emotionally intelligent with a proactive, agentic mindset.
