Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

This is the founding FP&A position at Bizee, a fast‑growing SaaS company serving small businesses. You will build the FP&A function from scratch, designing budgeting and forecasting processes, creating integrated financial models, and delivering board‑ready reporting while working remotely with a globally distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes end‑to‑end.
• Build and maintain an integrated SaaS financial model covering bookings, billings, ASC 606 revenue recognition, deferred revenue, expenses, cash flow, headcount and key SaaS KPIs.
• Support month‑end close by owning flux analysis, revenue and deferred revenue review, accrual reasonableness and variance commentary.
• Produce monthly board reports, executive dashboards and variance analysis with clear narrative.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations and Customer Success to set targets, review performance and guide investment decisions.
• Drive ad‑hoc strategic analysis such as pricing, unit economics, customer cohort and scenario planning.
• Recommend, implement and own the FP&A technology stack, evaluating platforms like Vena, Pigment or Mosaic alongside NetSuite.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate reporting, accelerate analysis and stress‑test models.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with proven ability to work independently and build processes from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business economics and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Strong analytical mindset with the discipline to bring structure to an un‑structured environment.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
